I have 2 websites that are managed by a gentleman I hired..(I've gone through
several that made promises and couldn't deliver).He is very ill, so he is
very slow in making updates to my sites....I need a website analytics added
to my website so I can track where people are finding us from. We spend
17,000 on advertising between membership websites, print, radio and other
media. Does anyone know of a simple maybe even free program we can add to our
website? I downloaded one but it was so complicated I couldn't use it. I also
don't want to download an unsafe program or scam by accident. Thank you for

Have to implement Analytics Tracking code in your website. From SEO Activity
you will get traffic to your website and increase the number of Users to your
website. It is not costly but bit slow process but within few months you will
get results and it will also create branding for your website.

I use my own web host to get all the stats and sources of referring URL's, I
found on youttube SEO info with simple tutorials, from there I learned much
and went further to find methods to increase my traffic which had little to
do with referring sites, there are bits and pieces out there and improving
little by little saves you time. I learned about html langauge heading
tags,keywords and descriptions as well as links, all were foreign to me
before
I concur that Google Analytics is a great way to track visitors. We use it
daily. We found a few iPhone and iPad applications that provide a way to view
Google Analytics very quickly.

I agree. Google Analytics is a great free tool, but in order to track those
membership websites, print, radio and other media you're spending money on,
make sure to set it up properly. This will help you understand what's working
and really get the insights you're looking for. If you do a lot of your
business over the phone, I would also recommend using phone call tracking,
this way you can also determine how many calls each channel is generating.
