Recently I was asked, ”where are some of the places I can submit my site to.” While I can come up with an insanely exhaustive list I am going to leave out about 1200 places are so because well they aren’t very relevant. But what I will do is list some of the more common places where people go to index themselves. These are all places that allow you to submit your site for free. One thing I do when I submit my site is I look at the big picture. The big picture is the fact that I am building one way back links to my websites. This is an important part of any seo strategy. The more one way links you have pointing to you the more relevant you will be seen by search engines. Also you want to have a high number of one way links that have your keywords and phrases these are known as anchor text links. Whenever you can try and always use anchor text in your back linking. Submit My Site – I recommend submitting to these places Top 5 web directories: You really don’t need to submit to all the web directories out there. In fact many of them aren’t very good at all.
I Know Seems Like A Lot Because all of this can seem a bit overwhelming, next week I am going to work on a e-report that will stream line the process of link building after I get the report done I’ll make sure to get a copy into your hands so that you don’t have to waste time and only focus on the sites that you need to worry about. I will also share with you the process I use to make sure my sites get exposure. keep your eyes open for that report you will find it helpful. Before I forget there is one prerequisite I have before I submit my site, I only submit to places that use the Do Follow attribute.

links are no good these days. If I were you, I would have created unique
articles with content relevant to your niche and keywords and posted them on
high page rank article sites. But make sure to check them that they are 100%
unique. There are ways to write a proper seo article, to get the most "juice"
out of the article, though over optimization will also be penalized by
Google. Be moderate in your seo optimization of the article, and remember to
do the article user and reader friendly. I wish you good luck with your
offpage seo efforts.

directories can hurt you.
I would stay away from that and instead identify a few high quality websites
related to your business and manually submit.
It's quality over quantity these days.

link on sites that aren't relevant to what your business does, you may
actually be penalized on the search engines.
Posting your link everywhere these days doesn't work the same way it used to.
Just my two cents.

a site for free but only relevant sites must be selected for submission. If
not done then your site may also face some adverse effects.
