You have done good so far, but this is just a beginning because the
competition is kind of tough and at this point you have to come up with some
good SEO or online marketing strategies to promote you website. By this way

IrishBoy: There are a lot of good ideas posted here so far. But I think the best thing to do for now is to concentrate on what you did to get your first few sales - obviously it's working. If you got those sales through ppc I would start bidding on more search terms. If you are only using Google AdWords I would add Yahoo and MSN's ppc. Another idea, You could start a blog where you review each of these products in more detail than you have room for on your site. Congrats IrishBoy. In order to have a lot of online sales, there are two things you need to consider: exposure and relevance. Exposure is just how many people gets expose to your product, by visiting your web site - hits. But, you should try to attract users which are ready to purchase your product - relevance. For instance, I have two sites to promote my book, Internet Book and Senior Activites, which are broad and don't generate a lot of sales, even though they generate many hits. On the other hand, I have two other sites: Gift For Dad, and Birthday Gifts For Dad, which are much more focused for people who are ready to purchase; although they generate much less hits, they generate more sales. You can promote your desired keywords and specific phrases in search engines. I would recommend that you try to find some keywords that will help you generate more revenue and not just get many clicks. It's also harder to be able to be on the first page on common phrases. Hi, Glad to see the post and as a website owner I also come across many things that internet offer everyday. All you need to do is to pick the right channel for you to market your product and find your niche. I've been learning to create my online store too, i use wordpress blog as my site. it's easier than normal html code. recently i just found out that in april 20th 2010, chris fox will launch his new software called CB Predators. There are a few questions that I'd pose: * Are you willing to plow profits back into your business? * Are you willing to spend money now to grow the business (while operating in the red)? If yes to above, then I'd suggest a fews to generate traffic: * Optimize your website for organic search. Build out good title tags that describe your pages. Write benefits-based meta descriptions. Be sure to put keywords into your body copy, and H Tags. Continue to put new and interesting content on your site. As you do, be sure to make urls that are keyword rich. * Consider doing pay-per-click advertising. Try going after low-bidded terms and run a few tests to see if you can profitably do PPC. If so, then this is a great way to complement your SEO. * Email acquisition. Consider working with a vendor to email prospective customers about your site and its products.
