We are pleased to support the SBA Boots to Business program by offering veterans a Free Online Entrepreneurial eMentoring & Learning Program. The course, 5 Steps to Successful Self-Employment, is a proven approach to entrepreneurial and self-employment business development and is free to all users. Online content teaches what needs to be done and why; interactive exercises reinforce and apply learning concepts to individual situations; users share results with a chosen mentor or counselor for further discussion and advice; free online tools support development of a business strategy plan and financing proposal. VetBizGO.org is a free online business resource network provided by the Foundation for Entrepreneurial Research and Development (FERAD), a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization. FERAD refers thousands of small businesses monthly to US Small Business Administration programs and services - SBDC, SCORE, WBC. VetBizGO lists over 25,000 federal, state and local government and nonprofit small business assistance agencies searchable by multiple criteria, along with other business development resources and targeted learning programs.
