It's occurred to we in recent times that the key to operating a
sucessfulsmall business is keeping your overheads down, especially in the
early stages. Also, with the job market being tough, there's a drive for more
people to become self employed. These two factors combined seem to be pushing
more and more people towards looking at internet marketting and internet
based businesses.
Does anyone else see this as a large growth area? Will we see more regulation
of this type of business in the future do you think?

and effort is very much needed. Also, Vista Print, and BigCommerce to name a
few are great and inexpensive for websites. You will have to have some
knowledge of HTML's and so forth but that's what you have the internet for.
Whenever I was confused I researched about it. I had lots of 8-10 days, after
working my 8-hours shift at work. Yes, no sleep for me! But the hard part is
getting setup then, it's smooth sailing from there. Hope this helps!

and opportunities for the small businesses - and that was happening for the
last 15 years already. The trend will continue, no doubt. It's an efficient
way of doing business, but it's also an efficient way of doing consuming, so
to speak.
So it is a win-win for businesses and consumers.
Some businesses are better suited than others to work online though - some
business models simply cannot be translated into online business models,
although even those businesses should benefit from using the internet and the
social media as a marketing platform to connect with customers and build
brand awareness.

opportunity for small, home based businesses to grow and thrive. A properly
constructed website can be just as big of a tool for a small business as a
fortune 500 especially at a local level. Most people just don't know where to
start when it comes to websites. Is like to see a bigger push towards
educating entrepreneurs on the effective use of the web, and its potential
for low start, low overhead business opportunities.
With some attention I think this could stimulate significant growth in the
economy and reduce unemployment in with the deal. Most people would be able
to build and market a decent site for $1000 or less if they knew how to do
some of the work themselves.

It doesn't require large initial investments, promotional methods on the
internet are the cheapest and provide the highest conversion rates and ROI,
it allows for easier management as you can take care of your business form
anywhere there's a computer and many more. I own such a business and can
testify for the great advantages it offers.

that there are many different internet companies that are held on the Fortune
500, Therefore, your internet venture could also be a big business as well as
becoming on the fortune 500 someday.
