I have just started a homebased business about two month prior to today. I am
currently having trouble with planning how I am going to market my business
to the public. I have received an offer from one advertising company, but
that company is in the west coast and I am on the eastcoast. I feel it to be
a problem because I might receive poor quality of the service and I do not
think I will get the help that I need to make my business a sucesess since I
am nowhere near them. I am dealing with the same issue with the tax and
accounting company that I am currently dealing with. Are there any tips or
wisdom that I should follow in order to change my situation? Giving up is not
an option!!!!

typically advertise products and services through business websites. If you
are selling a product, consider getting an e-commerce store set up. If it is
a service, there are endless possibilities of creative promotions online,
including but not limited to social networking, video outreach, blogging and
much more.

There are tools available online to check out what similar online businesses
are using for keywords, backlinks -- Your website search ranking position.
On hiring a SEO person or company to help you with your internet marketing,
I've hired 4 different SEO / Internet marketers but only got Results with 1
of them. Yes, they all looked good on paper.
Google adwords is 1 way to attract business, but it can get expensive and
does take some degree of frequent management by you or someone else. If you
are new to Google Adwords, I suggest getting some help to get started, learn
the fundamentals, do's & dont's, etc.
Good luck and good prospecting.

abroad. You could even try websites like odesk, elance to find some
freelancers to help out. You can get cheaper SEO experts on these websites.
Or you could do it yourself. Google Adwords is pretty straightforward. As for
SEO, it tends to be very tedious, so better to outsource.

your area. Expanding the area you can find the best of the best, just make
sure you talk to some of their current and past clients, that will give you a
better idea if they will be a right fit for you or not!

doesn't make any difference where they are located when you are an internet
company. To find a local accountant, look in the Yellow Pages. That is one
professional, as well as your attorney, who should be local.
