We have found that consumers generally prefer shorter forms when asking for
consumer information. In our quote forms we ask for the basic information
then we reach out to them directly. We also do email marketing and use our
social media for communicating with consumers.

Our experience has been that people don't really want to take much time to
full out surveys. The only easy to get good compliance is to collect it in
person. They are hesitant to be forthcoming in person. Just a couple of quick
relevant questions seems to work best for us.
