Hi SBA community! We are a group of students from Bettendorf, Iowa in a Business Principles and Management class. Our assignment is to get feedback on a charity fundraiser. One of our group members is the head coach of the special needs dance team at our high school. The program has dramatically expanded, which is great, but now she cannot afford new uniforms for the participants. Also because of liability issues, the team members cannot do common high school team fundraisers like car washes and door-to-door sales. Our solution is to host a trivia night at our high school atrium. There would also be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a "Bulldog Pull", where items from different high school teams would be raffled off to our participants. We are also challenging other teams within our school to play against each other to support the special needs dance team. Most of our community is unaware that this team exists, which is why we are asking for your help. We are looking for feedback on our ideas and interesting ways to market this event to our student body and community. Can you help us?
