Hostmonster is a good choice ans BlueHost is their sister company i have accounts for both. You can tell cause both their backends are identical. =)

Hello Mtracy18, I use Globat and Lunarpages and have been very happy with them over the years. One of the biggest problems you will find when looking for a hosting company is the support of what you need from them. Most problems encountered with hosting companies are that the intended use was never supported by the provider when the package was chosen yet unchecked, the site is being built with the unsupported code. One should plan out their web infrastructure and needs and then find a provider that provides that. There are various kinds of hosting as well, dedicated, hosted, virtual and such. I've had good success with Lunarpages, though people I've referred to them have had significant issues. One other one that I've been very impressed with was A Small Orange. Their shared plans have several options, and some very reasonable pricing. They're support was also quite responsive via email, which is always important. Get ready for an avalanche of opinion! I use SiteBuildIt, and am thrilled. I was on the internet for nearly 10 years before I joined SBI (http://www.success-sbi.com) and barely made $50 ... in all 10 years! ; [ . Now I make a very nice living, and I do owe it to SBI. I insert a disclaimer: I am a volunteer moderator in their forums, and I coach people on how to set up profitiable SBI sites too. Yeah, I'm sold on it, in no uncertain terms. If all you want is an isp to host your site, any will do. If you want to really make money, go for SBI. The massive amount of work they do in the background to make your site successful is absolutely astounding. My site ranks in the top 1/10 of 1% of all sites, and has for quite a while now.
