I've been doing pest control for the last five years and I am tired of working for other people. Like through the last 5 years I have made my employers almost 1 million dollars in revenue dollars. I want a bigger piece of that pie.
Wondering what I need to do to start my own company. I know pest control is a cut throat business, but it is one of the industries that holds up better in a recession. Businesses will always need a pest control service at one time or another. Bed bugs are on the rise too so lots of money is going to be made. Wondering if I can get some advice or the steps I need to have my own successful company.
Yeah. What you can do is to go and check out their site for information. Or if they do not have any reliable site, you can contact them through emails or phone number. That's what good companies have, they should be able to provide an excellent email support.

That is a very broad question and hard to answer. Here is my suggestion: Find a local SCORE or SBDC in your area. They are part of the SBA and free to use. Plus, they would better understand your local laws and rules and can help you research and develop your business plan. If you come up with more specific questions, I am sure we can help answer those.
I am not sure where you are located, but I think pest control companies here have to be licensed and bonded as well. It might be different where you are, but that would be the first thing to look in to.

First analyze yourself can you start/run a business yourself? Can you bear the business overhead? How do you market yourself? Doing business is continual process you need to be control your patience as in intial days you won't get enough money or may be you get nothing. I advise you get these answers.
If it is possible start your buiness as part time and work in some other area or near to your county. When it is established then leave your job and concentrate on your business.
We believe every business has potential to get treasure from internet.
So.. there are lots of ways for pest control , but few are truly eco friendly. After searching for months for my farm, I found a few products and tricks on terminixpestcontroloffers.com that all combined make it a environmentally friendly way of pest control.

l live in Columbus Ohio, which is one of the worse effected States in the country.
Bed bug infestations are cropping up in homes all over the state
every day! so one of the key things I look into for a Pest Control Company is thier ability to get rid of pests say how to get rid of bed bug for example.

I agree strongly with phanio. I am a subject matter expert for SCORE in Las Vegas for SEO and internet marketing. The counselors that I work with are amazing with the amount of knowledge and recourses available to start up and existing businesses.
I would give you a quick tip when choosing a url and business name to make sure it has your relevant keywords in the title. Such as bedbugexterminatorsoflasvegas' This will give you a jump start on your online marketing as a start up against the larger national pest control companies.
