Hi, Check out our resources for starting a business. It includes information about business plans, financing, and marketing. You'll find a ton of great information that is applicable to any location. You can also check out our blogs for insight, like this one about the early years of entrepreneurship.
There is a nonprofit website called BUZGate.org that offers a no-cost online
platform called 5 Steps to Self-Employment. This not only provides a
step-by-step approach of all the main points for starting a business, but you
can also work virtually with a no-cost busineess counselor through SCORE or
the SBDC while you go through each of the steps. There are also cool tools
like a start-up checklist, forecasting templates and business development
strategy worksheets you can use. Visit BUZGate.org, choose your state and
then choose the menu tab called "Train MyBiz" to access the platform. Good
