Does my DBA and domain name have to be the same?

I was told that my DBA or Company name should be different than my domain
name allowing me to create more than one online store. Can you tell me if
this is correct?
Thank You

be. In most states, DBA names are not protected, so chances are you can use
whatever you'd like for your DBA name as well.

address. If it is nothing like your registered business name, people may get
suspicious. Yet, your domain name would probably benefit from having some of
the high volume google keywords in it for your niche.
I have one registered business for tax purposes, and several business names
all in the same niche but unrelated to the business name. You may however
want to seek legal advice about how you set up your DBA and its associated
domains to limit liability.
