One of the hottest topics in the news is the economic stimulus package -- otherwise known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act -- recently signed into law by the President.
The Recovery.gov website was launched to provide information about the Act and to account for the money that is being spent.
Many small business owners may be wondering how they can benefit from this legislation. There are a number of provisions aimed at assisting small businesses, such as fee relief on SBA loans and additional funds to be made available for the microloan program.
What kinds of questions do people have about the stimulus and its provisions for small businesses?
The questions my team and I are receiving are 'When does it (fee waiver) go into effect?', 'Why don't they (government) mention Credit Union's when speaking about SBA Lending?', etc.

In case you missed the media coverage earlier, the President announced plans to boost small business lending.
