I am helping to develop an employment application form for a small NJ home improvement business that will employ 1-3 people. I have reviewed the DOL and other government sites in search of a template or guidelines to a form that will be in compliance with laws, etc.
Can you point me to an efficient and sound resource, preferably free, that I can download and edit?

A good resource to use may be a local Small Business Development Center, which is one of SBA's resource partners. They're located across the country andprovide free business counseling and answers. Visit SBA Direct to find your local SBA resource partners by entering your zip code.
They may be able to point you to the type of guideline you're looking for in New Jersey.
