Hello,
I have a mess of a situation with my SMLLC and I would appreciate the advices and help of anybody.
I filed a LLC in Wy back in January 2011. I am neither a US citizen nor a permanent resident. I obtained the EIN from the IRS in mid May 2011. I have already filed all requirements of taxes and annual report with the State of WY but on the federal level...
To start with, I have not send form 8832 to the IRS but I believe the company is registered as a disregarded entity since I am the only member of the LLC. Isn't it?
I have not filed anything for the past year of 2011, even though my yearly net profit was quite low (around $1450). Unfortunately, I had an injury and had to undertake knee surgery that removed my ability for business for more than 6 months.
Furthermore, I have not filed any quarterly tax return during last year, nor a yearly one at the end of December. I recognize that this situation may incur penalties for not declaring and paying anything for the lat year.
Any advice on how should I procceed would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reading and Best Regards to all,
Ergis

tax payments, but you do need to file a year end tax return. You will
probably owe a small amount of self-employment tax.
