I am a very small business in start up mode. I have not had any sales yet
because I am still getting everything in order. I understand a business plan
is very important but at this time I am not looking for investors or
creditors. This just seems very formal for what I am trying to do at this
time. I don't have any sale numbers to base my projections on so I am
struggling with this part of the "plan".
Any help is appreciated.
Your observation is quite valid. All too often, a new entrepreneur is thrown
into the bsiness plan tornado when they ask for advice about starting a new
business. And you are correct that writing a full plan is far too formal at
this point. There needs to be an exercise or activity of some sort between
the request for help and the writing of the plan.
