However here are some sites that may help:
FedBizOpps Avanced Search You can search by company name contract type, dates etc.
DLA: Bid Board System
DoD Progate
The DLA and DoD sites will require the company cage code to conduct find a specific company. If you don't know it you can get it at BINCS.
The sites above are free to search. If this doesn't help you can contact the contract office that awarded the contract. They maybe able to help you.

Thanks for the response, MarkT, I'll check those out a little further.
I think I went to one of those sites and had to be registered in CCR or be registered as some type of contractor before I could access the site, which is a problem if you are just a member of the public looking into contracting.
Why would people want access to this info?
From my standpoint, I need to know who (if anyone) is operating under current contracts for my business sector so I know the competition and where I stand. I also want to know how much the government is spending each year for that sector because maybe I have a much better way of doing something and would like to present the potential cost-savings in my proposal.
So that's my 2 cents.
This is all public information and is provide for free; if you give me the company name I can then see if I can point you to the right direction. I need the industry type and contract types (local, state, federal)

Under the contracts tab you are able to search for awarded federal contracts by contractor and federal agency.

You are so helpful, and conceptually hit on exactly what I need. However, when I do a search the data seems to be faulty. Nothing comes up for the sample search discussed below.
Sample search:
Federal News Service provides transcriptionof recorded meetings, etc., forCongress, DOD, and others. Huge supplier for the government.
USASpending.gov shows nothing when I search for 'Federal News Service.'
Your suggestion is right on, it's the data suppliers that don't work in this case.

I think it depends on how you enter the name. You have to have the parent company's exact name or it will not return a result.
You can search for 'Federal News Services' or 'Federal News*' (without the quotations) and you will return a result. I searched for 'Federal News*' with an asterisk to find the Federal News Services Inc.
