Finding the dropship products I want.

I'm researching a business that I want to start where I sell products through home parties, catalogs and an online store.  I know what kind of products I want to sell and I have been researching dropship wholesalers.  The only articles I can find online are about "deciding what product you want to sell."  I am not planning to run a generic ebay store with random products.  How can I find which wholesale drophipper carries the quality and type of products I need for my business?  If I can't find one that has what I want to sell - am I out of luck?  I don't have the knowledge and resources to carry my own inventory.
