Finding Industry Analysis on Small Business

Prior to going into client meetings, I always try to find some industry analysis on the field that they are in. Many companies that we work with are in the 30 - 100 person range (5m - 40m / yr.) and, despite wanting statistics on their industry (when it's specific and geographic), I cannot find them. Our dedicated analyst cannot either. We looked at the name financial analysis websites and they didn't have the type of info b/c companies don't readily want to give it out. Also, one of our new employees has access to her college research tool and we keep coming up with nothing.

Does anybody have any recommendations? Specially, I'm looking for how the industry is doing financially, new advances in the field and anything else I can get my hands on. Thanks in advance.

I went over esignals in relatively in-depth detail, however could not see anything other than a trading tool. Am I missing something?

Truly. Thank you. I just went on there, played around for about 5 minutes and while they don't give me the exact companies I need, it does have better information than I found elsewhere. Plus, the price is right and the product, seemingly better.

I agree that Yahoo Finance is a great tool. In college, it was one of the most consistent tools I had to use in business.

Have you tried in Yahoo Finance? they have pretty good analysis for many industries and trends.
