Does anyone have any information on available grants for the fees associated with filing for a Non profit or for Tax exempt status. I found a company that helped me with all of the paperwork so far and my next step is submitting it. I am also on unemployment if this helps.

I have never heard of any programs to pay your filing fees. But, how much can they be? A few thousand. If you cannot cover that amount, how do you plan on running your business?

I recently heard information that someone on unemployment may be able to get funding or pay when starting a business. I am in the process of submitting my Non profit status and tax exempt status and would like to know if there is something available to me since I am on unemployment in the the state of NY
