Hi there,Does anyone have any more information regarding this situation? I would be interested to know more on registering a business in one state but operating in another. Would I need to register my business in the second state as well?

Businesses established in one state can register as a foreign corporation or foreign LLC in another state and do business in it. Your state or county office that registers business entities can provide details.
For the limo service, are you renting garage space in PA or have you moved your business office to PA? If your office is still located in NJ and you are paying to rent garage space in PA, you should be okay. If you have moved your office, phone lines, etc. to PA, then you probably need to register your business there.
