No matter what we do or what we pay, my personal credit score never seems to change for the better.(550-560)Banks and other small business loan agencies don't give people a chance to explain their credit history. Many times I'm sure people just have excuses as to how they single handedly destroyed their own credit, but others can explain at least some of the strikes against them. I opened a gently used, name brand clothing (50/50) consignment store 02-13. Business is going better than I expected it would the first year. Customer numbers are high and growing.I don't have money to advertise, but word of mouth is powerful in a small town. I have 160+ consignors. September was a fantastic month, averaging $150 a day, but 50% of store earnings go to consignors. In the beginning, consignment was my best option. 10 months later, it's not the best thing anymore. I desperately want to stop consigning all together, instead, buying outright and gathering my own inventory so the store keeps 100% profit. I've become friends with other similar store owners in the community and I'm always looking for ways to be more successful. The winter months are the slowest and I want to take that time to redo my store. I started with almost nothing and have brought it so far already, but there are a few small things that will make a huge difference. I'd love to go into details with anyone interested in hearing them, but don't want to fill this entire page up with all of my grand ideas. haha! Now that you know a little about me, my store, my situation, and what I'm needing, I'd love any advice from people who know if there are any good companies out there willing to take the chance with people who have a bad personal credit score. For everything I'd like to do, I'd need about $10,000, but I'd be thankful for any kind of loan right now. I can prove to the lender that I will make on time payments, which will lead to larger loans in the future. Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to read this. I know I'm not the only one in this situation and I pray that any answers received will not only help ME, but help others as well. Again, thank you and God bless!
