TO: SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION SUBJECT: Looking for help with low interest loan or grants. STORM DAMAGE, SHORT DESCRIPTION: I lived and own a business in the same town. My business is in Ocean county New Jersey shore area since 1980. Storm Sandy and the few other in the past ruined my 2001 $70,000 crew cab flatbed tow truck with 43,000 miles. I need to replace it because we do local and state police towing to clear vehicles from salt water damage disable cars and trucks blocking road ways. If it was my choice l would refuse to do that part of the towing, but you have to do it, or you are off the towing list which is about 35 % of my business income with New Jersey State and local police department’s rotation list. The tow truck has a LOT of issues, between electrical and rust and it’s not cost effective. So that’s the short version besides of the higher cost of living ,building and towing equipment, towing insurance, employees health insurance, employees pay roll, property taxes, government taxes, body shop taxes and maintenance cost. These days l find myself scratching my head wondering if there’s any relief is out there. I looking for about $ 100,000.00, my business and property is paid for, l own all my tow trucks credit is very very good and l need the lowest interest rate possible or maybe a small grant to upgrade… because of my services to the public and Police Departments. So please help. I’m looking forward to see if maybe there is hope. Owner – Charles Pirchio (This post was edited to remove a link.
