I just started my business this year. In wanted to expand I've been looking

 

for grants. Are there any out there that's obtainable? upgradeevents.com

There are very few grants for 'for-profit' businesses. There are some that only offer $500 to $1,000 and are very competitive and take a long time to get. These grants are usually designed to drive user to the business of the grant maker. Most grants are geared for non-profit businesses and must relate to the granting foundations purpose. There are government grants - but these are very specific in nature - try grants.gov. If you are looking for expansion capital - you might want to try some alternative funding sources.
