Unfortunately, the federal government does not provide grant money to start a business nor are grants generally available to for-profit businesses. If you need start-up funds your best bet is to apply for a loan. The Loans and Grants Advisor has great information on financing opportunities, such as the Microloan Program, that can help you find a program that works for you.
