Forget grants - they just don't work that way. How much are you seeking? Have
you sought out an equipment loan - either from your bank, credit union or
private lender? Many of the private equipment lenders have programs for
startups as long as you have some type of income.

Might even look into a lease - might be cheaper and easier to get approved.

Or, have you talked with potential customers? If they like the idea - they
may fund your needs as well as become your first clients.

Your best bet is to seek a loan. Grants are not generally available for
typical business expenses.
