Grants SBIR & SBTT - Help For Patent R&D?

I have read about the SBIR & SBTT grant opprotunities available through the various Gov't agencies.  Howeve, fir intance, the SBIR competitive grant application period has passed.  I have been informed by the Patent Office that my patent appliocation has been allowed for issuance. I have a few dollars and lint in my pocket.  Where can I find the money I need to - 1st develop a prototypr; 2nd - bring product to market.  Where do I find R&D companies that can help me?  Any info would be great.

if you have a genuinely good product / idea, I'm sure you should be able to attract some venture capitalist firms. Even in this recesssion / credit crunch, there's money out there, just need a solid idea and know how to market yourself.

We might be able to help you - our website lists several resources for small businesses seeking capital - in this market you have to get creative as most banks will not help you. You can get the funds you need to get started while you work on your grant application. For SBIRs and STTRs - I would recomend that you find a grant writer (that knows these programs) to get you started. These are competitive and you competition is using them. You should do this for the first one or first phase at least. Otherwise, check out our website - we have many resources that can help you.
