My family and I are wanting to start a business in Tennessee and we are wanting to use as much natural engergy as possible. Thinking about using Solar Power and water conservation barrels. We are wondering if there is any finacial help for businesses using or are planning to use natural energy.
Using Solar Power and water conservation is an excellent idea for growing
your business as long as it's ustainable. Depending on where you do bsuiness,
you can get small grants or a subsidy for using sustainable engery.
The best thing would also to grow sustainable crops then you would get the
full benefit from government grants. The EU will even subcidize foreign
farmers who produce and sell sustainable energy.
Forget about grants. They just don't work the way you want them too. You are only wasting your time. There are no grants to start a business - period!
Your time will be best spent in developing a solid business plan and then using that to obtain the finaicng you need to get your business off the ground - what source you use depends on your needs.

All in all then, a startup has very distinctive setup features - from forfeiture incentives to IP issues to tax traps. It typically differs significantly from a conventional small business in the way it is set up. The issues touched upon here illustrate some of the important differences. There are others as well. If you are a founder, don't make the mistake of thinking you can use a do-it-yourself kit to handle this type of setup. Take care to get a good startup business lawyer and do the setup right.

The main reason that more businesses don't do this is the cost - thus, they are thinking long-term. It is very bad business policy to purchase something that will not return at least its own cost over time. If you do this in business - you will have no business long-term.
When alt energy gets more efficient and lower in cost - to the point that it make financial sense - then more businesses will do it.
