GSA Invests $4 Billion in Green Recovery Act Construction Projects Nationwide

The GSA manages most of the Federal buildings across the nation.

There is a huge amount of contracts out there due to these buildings going 'green' and with current updates which are to include energy efficient windows, lighting, doors, and hardware.

There is sure to be many large contracts for these upgrades to all these facilities all across the nation.

This post is the reason I joined the Small Business Site, I am trying to find out how to participate in the 'green' jobs created by the Recovery Act Construction Project and was hoping someone could direct me toward the right place to go. We are a local but large plumbing company and have done work with all the cities and counties around and even the State of Florida. We install tankless water heaters and waterless urinals. You can go to our Tampa Plumbing Website to find out the other services we may be able to perform for the government. Peter, Thanks for joining the Community. Various laws, executive orders and procurement regulations now require federal agencies to purchase 'green' (bio-based, recycled content, and energy efficient) products.
