Hi, i am interested in opeing a half way house in the Hamtopn Roads area in Va. I would really appreciate some start up advise. I need to find a property and also how do i obtain the inmates once i get it going?

Hi dagift93, There has been some discussion surrounding starting halfway houses, so feel free to take a look. The Virginia Department of Corrections contracts with private providers of transitional residential housing. You can look into their Procurement of Goods and Services office to find out more information. If anyone has experience with this, please feel free to add!
