My name is George Eagleman and interested in opening up a Halfway House for
people completing alcohol and drug treatment. We have non-profit corporation
called Inter-Tribal Cultural Alliance, Inc.and we like the business under the
corporation but as a separate private entity. Can you explain the
ramifications for this set-up. The corporation has a governing body of Board
of Directors. How will this effect the private entity aspect of the Halfway
House?
You may also need legal advice. You will want to be certain you do not
compromise your non-profit status. It is possible you will need to establish
a separate non-profit for the halfway house.
