Hey everyone, I was doing a little research and stumbled upon the community. I work on a few sites (time permitting) just lost my day job, so I've got plenty of time to work on my sites now.

Hello Charles,   I've bought and read that information from Kneb as well.   Unfortunately I can't provide much insight into the application of it as I generally use custom created content.   That being said, he gave up a gold mine of information on Public Domain works....hmm, I might just have to dig up my copy and re-read that one of these weekends.   Take care and best of luck with your new business.

Hi burtf1951, There are definitely tremendous opportunities using public domain material. It's good to hear that you're reading up on it. We actually have some resources on business.gov, so feel free to check out our Intellectual Property Guide that includes information about copyright. I'm not sure if you're interested in domain names as well since you have an online business, but we have a great blog on it: All About Domain Names. Hope this helps! Feel free to post on our community discussion boards if you have more questions!

Hi Christine and thank you for the warm welcome. Actually I've been researching public domain material and copyright law. I've been reading an ebook by Kneb Knebiah on use of PD material that is fascinating.    Now if I could just get focused on how to use this knowledge. I feel like there are tremendous opportunities both online and off through the use of PD material. What ya think? Right or Wrong?   I have three websites I'm working on with only one that is producing a steady income (signature site). It's just been hard to find the time to add content consistently.   I just recently got laid-off from my job, so as of now I'm job hunting and taking this time to work on my sites and research my options. I'm fortunate to have stumbled across this forum. I will browse the forum for gems.   Thanks again, Charles French
