Hello from a webmaster/SEO

Hi there, I'm a webmaster and SEO working from home building websites and promoting them. I generate an income from a variety of methods, such as promoting companies with affiliate programs to earn commissions on sign-ups and purchases as well as Pay Per Click ads such as Google Adsense, Chikita etc.

 

This is not work for the faint hearted and it took me a good 2 years to reach the stage where I was generating sufficient income to do this full time. The vast majority of the ads out there for making money online are unachievable in the short term and even so in the long term unless you are prepared to work hard, long hours and be dedicated beyond what you'd ever do for a regular job!

Hey mrhelpful, sorry I didn't get straight back to you, thanks for the reply.   I should have mentioned that SEO is something I do for myself only - it gives me great pleasure taking a site into the top 10 in Google where it can make some good money from the organic search traffic. Hate to say it, but the sites I tend to build these days are as simple as they come with few of the on-site SEO trciks that people think you need to rank. In fact you need almost no on-site SEO to do that, because you rank through the backlinks you get. The more, good quality backlinks you have with your keyword anchored in them, the higher you will rank for that keyword.   As an experiment a while ago, I actually put a basic, unaltered blogspot blog into the number 1 position for a medium-competition keyword in Google just through backlinks and no on-site SEO whatsoever. It has been making me some nice passive coin ever since.   So don't go paying anyone to build a SEO'd site for you, as there is little point!
