Hi I am currently surfing the web of never ending information trying to find
grants. I have two documented disabilities and am looking to start a tutoring
buisness. I know to get grants you have to offer a service to the government.
I am trying to get the information to start offering free tutoring and
sliding scale pay for students in need through the government. Are there any
grants out there for this type of buisness?

funding on the local level. You might start with your local school district.
They should be able to tell you if funds are available through your state
department of education for businesses like yours. Be aware that grants are
very difficult to obtain when you are a for-profit business, and particularly
a service business.
