Central Cali homeowner needs funding for veggies, tractor, pick-up for
organic gardening and dog kennel business! Perfect harmony these two business
will be.
My credit is not so good but I have co-signers and a paid for 3 acre home. I
have been working in both fields for several years without documentation
however ready to get legal and profit!! These are the beginning steps and
appreciate help and advice. I will begin with business plans and
license/permits. Getting a loan is imperative so as to get the ball rollin!!!
I will succeed in this venture without a doubt! My years of working with
professionals and great business owners taught alot and I'm anxious to put
them into my own personal business.
I need advice on loans with lousy credit. Wish I could go back but we all
know that won't happen so I'm ready to move forward and correct my blemishes
so as to get busy and SUCCEED!!!!
Thanks for reading.

1) Find a local "micro loan" lender and see what they have to say. This might
take a few months to get funded but would be worth it.
2)Your local community development corporation (CDC) - which can help you
secure a SBA loan under their 504 loan program. Here, you would have to come
up with 10% of what you need - but, it is better then coming up with 100% -
start by calling your local SBA office or SCORE office or chamber of commerce
to find out who your CDC is.
3) Lastly, not sure how much you need - but always look to your friends,
family and community for the money you need and approach it as you are
helping that same community.

business development center in your area. They can evaluate your business
plan and recommend how to proceed. They also have contacts with banks. It
sounds as if you may be able to do what you suggest with only a micro loan,
particularly if you are willing to start with used pick-up and tractor. That
may be easier to obtain.
You will need to be registered with your state, have a sales tax permit, a
business license if needed, a kennel license and appropriate insurance before
you can proceed with seeking financing.

I am more than willing to purchase used machinery. For the small area I will
be working it won't take a lot of machine work. I'm not "high maintenance"
and used items are good enough for me if it works!! lol.
I will be inquiring about lecenses ect. today. Wastwed enough time already!!
Thanks again.
