Some thoughts: LLC would be your best bet. If you are a single member LLC - it will ot really affect your tax status - but will provide you with liability protection (protecting your personal assets). Also, if you have not done so, think about buiness insurance that can also help if you get in trouble across the border. In receiving payments or setting up contracts with foriegn entities - think about Letters of Credit - while these may have a small fee invloved, they will protect all parties to ensure that goods are delievered and that monies are paid - they can also facilitate payment directly to you in US funds (side note - watch currency exchange rates to make sure you are getting the best rate and losing money). Lastly, I would find a good CPA with international experience - this may cost a little but will really save you in the long-run.
