My name is oliver winsley and i am new to this forum. It looks like a great resource and looks like there are a lot of great people involved here.  I actually am looking for government regulations for new insurance companies and would like some input regarding that. Thanks everyone!

Hi Oliver, I am new here also. I travel often, so I would be interested in
reading and discussing with you on getting some travelers insurance.

Hi Oliver! Welcome to the Community. I am not sure that the travel industry is regulated beyond standard compliance issues (i.e. licenses and permits, labor laws, advertising laws, etc). Here is a link to get you started on standard compliance laws. I believe that professional/industry associations usually offer guidelines and Codes of Ethics commonly accepted in the industry, so that may be another source of information. Also - one of your fellow Community members, who is also in the travel industry, had a question pertaining to regulations and policies on travel to/from Cuba, which is regulated by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and provides guidance to Travel Service Providers and the Travel Industry. You might be interested in that post!
