My name is Ahsan and I live in New York city. I want to work as an independent agent with the readymade garments importers of USA. I came to USA with a citizenship visa nine months back. I am from Bangladesh and I have a healthy experience of RMG industry as I worked with this industry in my country. So, I want to capitalize my experience and knowledge by initiating a business as an agent. I want to facilitate the importers of USA by delivering them their required finished products from Bangladesh at their required cost. I would like to know about the following issues:
1. Do I need any kind of license, registration, fees or legal papers to qualify as an legally authorized agent? If needed then what are those?
2. How do I get some authentic Importers of Readymade Garments in USA? Could I talk to any authentic association of Importers or else?
3. If i find any importer of USA, then is there any way that I could verify his authenticity?
I would really appreciate your knowledgable answers to my queries.
