Hi Colly- You can use the License and Permits tool to determine the required federal, state, and local permits, licenses, and registrations for your restauran by entering your city/state or zip code and selecting 'restaurant' from the business type menu. The Food and Beverage Industry Guide includes a page devoted to Restaurants, which offers an overview of federal regulations that affect restaurants and other food service businesses, including links to guidance that help restaurateurs stay in compliance with federal regulations.
