Hi SD1: I think if you have received your registration info such as a number, and is able to log onto related sites like http://www.ccr.gov. Then you are confirmed. All federal opportunties can be found on http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Business.gov's Government Contrating guide has loads of information that I think you will find helpful. These are just standard registrations to begin doing business with the government. Registering with GSA is a totally different area. You have to apply for a GSA contract and go through the lengthy process of being awarded a GSA contract.

I have looked into registering with GSA, but am confused by the process. Do you have any suggestions regarding where and how to begin? Also, is GSA registration necessary to do business with the Federal Government? Can I bid on opportunities without GSA registration? Any guidance you provide would be greatly appreciated!
