How do you feel about liquidating inventory?

I'm not trying to promote any services here, but I would like some insight if anyone would be willing to share. 

 

Knowing your target market in any business is crucial.  What are their fears, wants, and needs, etc.? 

 

Although I do work for a liquidation company, I've never had to face the possibility of liquidating an inventory.  

 

Does anyone have any insight into fears, thoughts, or feelings associated with liquidating your inventory?  Positive or negative.  

 

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
