The only 'promo' I do with real paper now is that I still print business cards, but I print them on my own computer and don't print very many at a time. Catalogs are much more effective online -- better descriptions, more current, easy to update. Emails are sent for special deals in place of postcards. And, as for shipping, everything we deliver is across the web, too. No boxing. No stuffing. For the millions of ebooks sold each year, that amounts to very significant greenery. I am trying hard to use environment friendly products and trying to adept to newer and greener technology for making my workplace a better place and for ensuring a better place for the next generation. In addition to recycling all of my metal (gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and brass) I use in my handmade jewelry, all of my packaging (jewelry boxes and wrapping paper) are made from recycled paper. From my gift boxes to bubble wrap to mailing boxes, I use items that contain post-consumer waste. I also recycle all my scrap. peggy
