how to pay myself

Hi, Everyone,

 

I am new to the community. I wonder if this is the right place to ask this question.

 

Here is my situation.

 

I am thinking about to run a small business in US. But I don't have greencard. So, I wonder, how can I pay myself from my company? I wonder if I can pay myself salary? My guess is I can not since I don't have greencard, and I can not sponsor myself as H1B visa.

 

Does anyone have any relative knowlege about the issue?
