Hey everyone. I'm new here.

I have a couple of questions, if anyone could answer I would appreciate it.

I'm thinking of starting a Paid-to-click site, like Neobux, onBux, etc. And I want to create a company, so that everything is legit for the site.

I don't know if you are familiar with such type of sites or not. So I guess I want to know how should I create and register my company, what fees/permits do I have to pay/obtain, etc? I am a Florida resident.

Start a LLC for about $70- $250 depending upon your state. I think you don't need any license. Then get your FEIN and State Tax ID. Use these IDs to open up a bank account which will be needed by the bank. Bank Account number is needed by companies which will serve ads on your website. The best thing to do is create an LLC. An LLC should cost you around $250 dollars. You will have to renew it each year, about $90. You could start your site first and when you start generating some cash from it, create an LLC. The best place to create an LLC is Delaware, Nevada or New York. Not sure about permits and license in Florida - but, I don't think you would really need one - Start here: http://sunbiz.org/ Florida's department of corporations. You can operate your business as a sole proprietorship - which should not cost you anything unless you want to operate under an assumed name. Or, protect yourself and file within your state for an LLC - offers the same tax method as a sole proprietorship with the same protections of a corporation (the best of both worlds).

You need to register as a business in your local area. In Florida, like written here before, you can find all the information you need at sunbiz.org. Also, don't forget to open a file at your local tax auhority for declaring your income.
