This seems like a simple one, but after several hours of googling, I cannot
find a direct answer.
I am part of a new startup and I have never hard to register for a NAICS
before; the companies that I have worked for have already had them.
Question: how do I register my company for a NAICS and provide evidence when
responding to a RFP?

Currently there aren't registrations for NAICS codes, you may locate what your NAICS code is for free at http://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/. NAICS is a classification system that analyzes statistical data based on commodities. The applications that you are able to register for using your NAICS code are the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), your Online Representation & Certification Application (ORCA). Once you have visited the site given and made a decision as to where your commodity falls within the NAICS listing those particular codes will be how government agencies identify what supplies or services that you provide.
