How should I register an international company

My friends has a comepany in China and she wants to start a company here in US.  She will have 60% share and I have 40% share.  Which document should I read?  What will be the procesure?

Hi bullcaptain, I would suggest you to take a look at 10 steps to starting a business (in the United States). Businesses in the United States are governed at the state level, so once you choose a state and establish an address in which your business will reside in, you will register with that particular state. We wrote a great blog: Starting a Business as a Foreign National that has some guidelines for how to proceed. USA.gov and the Department of State also has some useful information.
