The best way to get links to your blog is to comment on other blogs and share links with them, maybe even get intouch with blog owners in the similar topic to yours.... Once you start it will become clearer.   I'm sure a blog like yours, especially seeing as yours is on such a subject, you could find plenty of places more than happy to help promote your site if it is informative and of use to the user... Just keep your blog clean and as informative as possible and it will spread like wildfire!   Keep up the good work! Rach. 

I can give you a few good tips (without giving away a bunch of free consulting! :-)   Make the titles for your blog tabs more descriptive and relevant to the subject matter.   Keep blogging!! Search engines love fresh content!!   Keep your content HIGHLY relevant to the general topic, relevance is king!   Not sure what you're using to create the blog, but if you use Blogger or Wordpress, a whole lot of the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) will be built in.   Connect with other bloggers in the field.... there's nothing wrong with sharing that extremely relevant/qualified traffic, because they will also share with your blog! Contact them personally if you can, so that besides exchanging links, you have also started conversations/networking.   .... I'd say it was a good blog, but I need a PHD first to feel qualified to comment on it :-)

The Federal Trade Commission law is for US. Bloggers that are out of the country it will not affect. The Endorsements Guides explain the rules. Basically, they are trying to keep people from making false reviews on products they never seen or used. This is misleading for the consumer researching a product.

How do you build links to your blog?  You don't seem to get into the search engines for competitive key phrases without lots of links to your blog.
