Hi SBA Community, I'd like to know what are the procedures for starting a for-profit business such as a book store under your non-profit organization? Also what are the procedures for creating divisions under your non-profit organization?

Thanks for responding to my post. I have noticed that SCORE only answers you
if you make an appointment and physically go down to their office. If it is
difficult for a person to make an appointment and physically go down there,
is there a way I can get the answers by email or find the answers on the
internet?

Another approach that may be useful is talking to a mentor who could offer you specific guidance. Mentors are available to meet in person or through online counseling. Good luck!
