I am interested in running selling dog treats online...

I am interested in making dog treats in my kitchen at home and selling them online.  Just wondering if anyone knows if my kitchen needs to be inspected, since the treats are for dogs and not people, I don't think the treats have to be baked in a commercial kitchen?  I know I will have to get a business license, but is there anything else involved besides setting up a website and business license?
