i need help.im not to computor savy.im going to a computor class this week .through unemployment center.ive been trying to get a goverment grant to start up a new busness and make a proposal to grant.gov.ive tried to get an application on line but it wont come up to either fill it out or print it. my business would help and employ people on disability s/s. or low income people on s/s. ,disabled vets,and G.I.s.returning from iraq.if anybody can help me here is my e-mail address chevyeddie2002@yahoo.com also here is my phone # 702-368-7514 anytime after 10 am pacific time.if know answere leave a message and i will get back to you after i get back from training

Your chances of obtaining a grant for your business are very small. Grants are not generally available to for-profit businesses unless you have invented a new product that is in the national interest. You may want to look into obtaining a low interest loan. If you can provide employment for those who are hard to place, you may qualify for assistance, though it may be in the form of tax credits, not free grant money.

I have seen many of these commercials as well them being flooded on the internet. I too think they may be 'to good to be true'. I also notice that most of these are info marketers and just trying to sell a their product or grant writing service. So I decided to go to grants.gov to see if I can do this my self. The site is very difficult to find based on key words. Has anyone been successful in finding a grant for their business at this site? Any sites or companies that can really help? You will never get a government grant to start a business non-profit or not. The govt does have many grant opportunities for non-profits that are already established.
